Cinema 4D introduces the most significant MoGraph innovation since Fields: New advanced object distributions for the MoGraph Cloner make it easy to create setups that weren’t possible before. The Liquid Flow Emitter provides more realistic continuous emission options for liquid simulations, an improved Take System offers smarter shot control, and Camera View Snapping allows for quicker switching between views.
Red Giant offers the most powerful set of tools for editors and compositors to easily add everything from titles to visual effects directly in the host apps they love, like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Resolve. We recently added a powerful new After Effects tool for generating depth passes from your footage to achieve various effects: swirl particles around a character, simulate depth of field blur, send scanlines down a corridor, and more. Additionally, all your Red Giant plugins, presets, and Capsule templates are now managed from one place, directly inside After Effects: Maxon Studio now brings everything together in one modern experience via the Maxon Studio Plugin tab.
Redshift offers artists even more speed and flexibility to render imaginative worlds with cinematic realism. The 2026.2.0 release marks the arrival of the long-awaited Texture Displacement feature. This new displacement method performs faster with Redshift’s interactive rendering mode and requires little to no mesh subdivision. The new UV Projection Context Node provides lower cost adjustments to post-bake transformations to a material. Expanded controls are now available for IES light profiles to enable more nuanced customization, and Redshift now natively supports AMD’s newest RX 9000 series GPUs.
ZBrush continues to evolve on both desktop and iPad, offering greater flexibility and making it easier to integrate into studio pipelines. Recent updates include a new Retopo Brush for greater control when creating low polygon topology, and a restructured folder system. ZBrush for iPad also now includes a photogrammetry feature for capturing real-life models ready for 3D sculpting, a new user-friendly quick search, enhancements in import/export options, and convenient auto-save.
