Maxon Welcomes The Announcement Of The Incorporation Of The Metaverse Standards Forum Alongside Companies Including Adobe, Epic Games, Meta, Microsoft, and NVIDIA, Maxon is pleased to drive Open Interoperability in the Industry.

As a founding member, Maxon welcomes the announcement of the incorporation of the Metaverse Standards Forum as an independent non-profit industry Consortium, after previously being incubated under the Khronos Group. Today, it exists with over 2,400 members and multiple active Working and Exploratory Groups focused on driving pragmatic interoperability advances. Maxon joined as one of the 37 founding members in June 2022, alongside Adobe, Epic Games, Meta, Microsoft, and NVIDIA and is pleased to see the development of a now fully independent forum.

This latest development comes as the technological landscape continues to evolve, and Maxon continues to be adaptive to these changes while maintaining that our user’s experience is held at the forefront of any developments of our tools and solutions for our global community of digital artists and content creators.

The Forum’s mission continues to be unchanged - to enable, foster and promote cooperation and coordination over metaverse-related interoperability between standards. Maxon continues its support and collaboration with the forum in a leadership capacity as a founding member and continues to support interoperability. Aligning with our customer-centric focus, the company will work within the Forum alongside other members to work collectively to guide the development of an inclusive and accessible Metaverse.
