Get a sneak peek at Maxon's new real-time visualization tool that will bring cinematic rendering to architecture by integrating Cinema 4D and Redshift with CAD workflows like Vectorworks. Offering GPU-based, real-time previews, smart object placement, and a library of materials and assets, allowing architects to create immersive walkthroughs and high-end visuals directly inside their existing workflows.

Redshift offers artists even more speed and flexibility to render imaginative worlds with cinematic realism. The 2026.2.0 release marks the arrival of the long-awaited Texture Displacement feature. This new displacement method performs faster with Redshift’s interactive rendering mode and requires little to no mesh subdivision. The new UV Projection Context Node provides lower cost adjustments to post-bake transformations to a material. Expanded controls are now available for IES light profiles to enable more nuanced customization, and Redshift now natively supports AMD’s newest RX 9000 series GPUs.

Texture Displacement

Watch your vision quickly come to life inside the Redshift IPR (Interactive Preview Renderer) thanks to Texture Displacement. Based on texel density rather than vertex density, this method of displacement minimizes the amount of subdivision levels required. By spending less time waiting for renders, you can iterate on one idea after another and see the results of your work immediately in the IPR window.

UV Projection Context Node

Avoid hitting memory limits thanks to this new node that more efficiently manages post-bake transformations for a material. Used in tandem with Texture Displacement, the UV Projection Context Node incorporates TriPlanar behavior, giving you control over Blend Noise and Noise Scale.
