Introducing Redshift for Archviz, Maxon's new real-time visualization tool that brings cinematic rendering to architecture by integrating Cinema 4D and Redshift with CAD workflows like Vectorworks and Revit. Offering GPU-based, real-time previews, smart object placement, and a library of materials and assets, allowing architects to create immersive walkthroughs and high-end visuals directly inside their existing workflows.

Workflow view of 3D architectural visualization from BIM model to final render

Redshift 2026.7.0 introduces support for Revit, expanding Redshift’s visualization capabilities, lightning-fast workflows, and rendering quality to more architects than ever before. Enjoy Real-time ray-traced rendering and physically accurate lighting tightly integrated with Revit. Additionally, Redshift Live introduces support for the Depth of Field effect, allowing architectural visualization artists to add depth and realism to their renders. Users of Redshift for Vectorworks can now use high-quality, photorealistic vegetation right inside of their Vectorworks scene thanks to Redshift’s deep host integration unique to the Nemetschek ecosystem. Additionally, the AI powered Context Aware Library Search in Redshift for Archviz allows architects to quickly fill their project with assets that match.

Redshift for Revit

Redshift now expands its workflow with support for Revit, helping architects and visualization artists move from design to stunning final imagery with greater ease and efficiency. Bring your Revit projects directly into a high-performance rendering environment built for speed, accuracy, and visual quality. From early concept presentations to photoreal marketing visuals, Redshift enables fast iteration, realistic lighting, detailed materials, and seamless integration into modern architectural pipelines.

Depth of Field for Redshift Live

Redshift Live now supports the Depth of Field effect. Use it to mimic a real-world camera and add depth to your renders by blurring objects far from the focus point and keeping objects in focus sharp.

Hex Tiling

This new tiling method for textures simplifies visualization workflows by quickly and easily breaking up unnatural repetition on broad, flat surfaces including concrete, plaster, or fabric. Hex Tiling can be easily applied in just a few clicks. No masking required, it allows for more organic materials across large surfaces without worrying about tedious prep work.

Texture Displacement

Watch your vision quickly come to life inside the Redshift IPR (Interactive Preview Renderer) thanks to Texture Displacement. Based on texel density rather than vertex density, this method of displacement minimizes the amount of subdivision levels required. Texture Displacement will now work with polygon selections, UVs outside the zero-to-one square in the UV Editor, and the projection types in the Cinema 4D Material Tag.
