Finding the perfect fit How I got the opportunity to join Maxon as a software developer after my internship.

I recently joined Maxon, and let me tell you, it has been an incredible journey so far. After some disappointing experiences at other companies where it seemed like people were just here to pay the rent, I wasn't sure if computer science was the right path for me after all. But then I reached out to a Maxonian. The person I spoke with was passionate and happy about their work at Maxon. It was so motivating to see someone genuinely excited about what they do and the environment they're in. That conversation made me realize that Maxon puts its employees first. They truly care about your growth and make sure you can evolve in the company according to your own needs and wishes.

With just one year of experience in computer graphics, I wasn't sure which area would suit me best. But during my interviews at Maxon, I felt the support from everyone I met, from HR to developers and managers. They genuinely wanted to help me find my perfect fit. Together, we found an internship project in the redshift team that would fit my expectations.

When I moved to Germany, I immediately felt included, not just in my team, but in the entire company. Maxon also offers German lessons to help newcomers feel more comfortable in their day-to-day lives., I had the freedom to learn at my own pace. I was encouraged to dive deep into subjects and experiment with what I learned. There was always a perfect balance between autonomy and support from my colleagues. I was able to develop skills in advanced raytracing techniques without any pressure.

At the end of my internship, I was thrilled to be offered a permanent position, which I quickly accepted. Since then, I've been given numerous opportunities to continue learning, including a substantial training budget and many interesting discussions with senior developers. Even though I don't have a ton of experience, I've been given responsibility and autonomy, which has only increased my motivation.

I can honestly say that Maxon is the best company I've ever worked for.
