What's New
Cineware for Unreal introduces two features significantly improving the Cinema 4D to Unreal pipeline, enabling you to preserve lighting design intent and character design deformations.
Cinema 4D Dome lights now import as Skylights in Unreal Engine, allowing for HDRI-based environmental lighting with all parameters intact. Cinema 4D IES lights will be imported as Point lights with full IES light profiles, preserving photometric lighting data and realistic light falloff patterns in Unreal Engine.
Cinema 4D pose morphs now import seamlessly into Unreal, with position, rotation and scale morphing intact, enabling time-based character deformations and facial expressions. And animation data can be brought into Unreal Engine more seamlessly, with Deformation animations fully importing with morph weights. These updates allow virtual production teams to bring full lighting setups from Cinema 4D into Unreal and keep them consistent across iterations, while character designers can keep the richness of their rigs in Unreal.

Cineware not only lets you load native Cinema 4D files into After Effects via drag & drop but also gives you complete control of 3D elements during the entire post-production process. Select and modify individual layers or objects in the Cinema 4D scene. Create final renders or individual passes directly in After Effects CC. Your 3D workflow in After Effects CC has never been easier – and your freedom never greater.

With Cinema 4D it's easy to create 3D models and animations you can use when creating games, real-time graphics or other interactive content in Unreal Engine. Importing C4D files directly into Unreal is an easy and reliable workflow. The powerful Cineware for Unreal plugin allows you to adjust specific attributes of a Cinema 4D file directly within Unreal Engine. Cineware For Unreal comes with both an Interchange plugin as well as the legacy Datasmith Direct Link plugin for Cinema 4D. That way, data is transferred to Unreal Engine directly using the local cache, allowing artists to see the changes nearly instantly. You can choose between using Interchange or Datasmith, or choose to use both methods.

Add and edit 3D objects directly within Adobe Illustrator using the Cineware for Illustrator plug-in. Apply your label artwork to 3D packaging or incorporate 3D elements seamlessly into your 2D artwork.

Vectorworks
Vectorworks® Software exports directly into Cinema 4D via the Send to Cinema 4D command. Your Vectorworks file is instantly packaged and imported into Cinema 4D with all native geometry, layers and class structures as well as cameras, materials, HDRI backgrounds and 2D planar objects. From there you can create sophisticated, photorealistic images and animations, and architectural renderings or utilize the artistic, hand-drawn styles of the Sketch and Toon render engine.

Cineware for Allplan allows users to import their work created in the popular 3D architectural application into Cinema 4D and render photorealistic images or breathtaking animations.
