What's New

ZBrush continues to evolve on both desktop and iPad, offering greater flexibility and making it easier to integrate into studio pipelines. Recent updates include a new Retopo Brush for greater control when creating low polygon topology, and a restructured folder system. ZBrush for iPad also now includes a photogrammetry feature for capturing real-life models ready for 3D sculpting, a new user-friendly quick search, enhancements in import/export options, and convenient auto-save.

Desktop Enhancements

On both desktop and iPad, the latest updates make it easier to fit ZBrush into various production pipelines. The much-requested Retopology Brush offers more control in creating clean, low-poly versions of any sculpt directly within ZBrush. This will enhance workflows and help prepare models for animation, real-time applications like games, and 3D printing. A restructured folder system standardizes both versions with other 3D applications, making it easier to move from one ZBrush version to another, transfer customizations, and align with industry and educational standards for folder management.

Using ZBrush for iPad in your existing pipeline is now easier than ever. Take full control of your sculpts and easily create low polygon topology with the new Retopo Brush. With the restructured folder system, you can organize your files the way you like for a customized setup. A new Quick Search feature simplifies daily tasks so you can find exactly what you need without having to navigate complex menus.
