Software Developer (m/f/d)

Bad Homburg (Metropolitan Area Frankfurt), Germany
Waterloo, ON, Canada

What you will do:

Work in other DCCs maintaining existing Cinema 4D/Cineware plugins
Maintaining/enhancing existing importer/exporter in Cinema 4D

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
At least 3 years of experience as a C/C++ developer with a good understanding of object-oriented programming
Solid foundational knowledge of 3D data, models, textures, UVs, and file formats (e.g., FBX, Alembic, USD)
Experience with various material systems (e.g., Standard Surface, MaterialX, USD Preview)
Proven experience in developing plugins for host applications such as After Effects and game engines like Unreal or Unity
Experience with continuous integration platforms (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI) is a plus
Familiarity with version control systems such as GitLab or Perforce is a plus
Development experience on both Windows and macOS
Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including in a virtual team environment
Fluent in written and spoken English with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and technical information
