As Adobe's director of engineering for professional audio and video, he spearheaded industry-transforming projects that empowered film editors, broadcasters, and post-production houses globally. At Maxon, David has driven strategic acquisitions, including Red Giant, Redshift, and ZBrush, significantly expanding the company's product portfolio and market presence. His innovative leadership continues to position Maxon at the forefront of media and entertainment technology.

Chief Strategy Officer & Board Member

Chad Bechert serves as Maxon's chief strategy officer and advisory board member, shaping the company's future with his extensive industry experience and strategic vision. As CEO of Red Giant, Chad previously played a pivotal role in its merger with Maxon in January 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Science in management and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University. Chad collaborates closely with CEO David McGavran to drive Maxon's strategic direction and foster a vibrant company culture.

Chief Technology Officer

Philip Losch has been a key figure at Maxon since 1989, joining just three years after the company was founded. As one of the original creators of Cinema 4D, he has been instrumental in democratizing 3D content creation. In 1998, Philip co-founded Maxon Computer U.S. As CTO, he has led Maxon through multiple mergers and acquisitions, combining business and technical expertise to drive product development and innovation, ensuring Maxon's continued success and influence in the industry.

Chief HR Officer & General Counsel

Gesa Häfner is Maxon’s chief human resources officer and general counsel. With nearly two decades of experience in HR and legal fields, she began her career at Bank of America. Since joining Maxon in 2014, Gesa has transformed the HR and legal departments to support global expansion. Her strategic vision and leadership continue to drive Maxon's ongoing dedication to fostering a vibrant, dynamic, and inclusive workplace culture.

Chief Financial Officer

Enrique Glas became Maxon's chief financial officer with over 20 years of finance leadership experience at Siemens and Microsoft. Enrique excels in global strategies for driving change, managing performance, and improving operational efficiencies. At Maxon, he enhances financial performance and supports the company's growth and success, ensuring robust financial health and operational excellence.

Chief Product and Data Officer

Steve Hoeg serves as Maxon's chief product and data officer, bringing a deep passion for the creative industry. Previously, he led engineering for Adobe's renowned audio and video products and co-founded a video streaming startup. His expertise has earned him credits in several major Hollywood films. At Maxon, Steve's extensive product leadership experience drives innovation and excellence in product development.

Chief Revenue Officer

Claudia Linsenmeier joined Maxon as chief revenue officer in January 2024, bringing over 25 years of experience in leading marketing and sales teams for software companies. Before Maxon, she was the chief marketing officer at Salesforce Germany where she played a crucial role in the company's growth. At Maxon, Claudia oversees all revenue functions, including sales and marketing, leveraging her expertise in high-growth strategies to drive revenue growth and solidify Maxon's leadership in the media and entertainment industry.

Executive VP, Rendering

Nicolas Burtnyk is the executive vice president of rendering at Maxon, joining in April 2019 through the acquisition of Redshift, where he was co-founder and CEO. With a distinguished career in human-computer interaction and 3D tools, Nicolas drives Maxon's innovation and excellence in rendering solutions. His experience includes roles at Alias (now Autodesk) and Double Helix Games (now Amazon Games).

Chief of Staff

Beatrice Billard has been Maxon's chief of staff since 2020, bringing over 20 years of experience in managing large-scale projects and software ecosystems. With a background in leading initiatives at Microsoft and Adobe, Beatrice helps Maxon scale processes and operate efficiently. Her expertise in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects is crucial to Maxon's continued growth and success.

Chief Creative Officer

Stu Maschwitz joined Maxon with a rich background in visual effects and filmmaking. Co-founder of the visual effects company, The Orphanage, Stu developed Magic Bullet, a revolutionary color correction tool. At Maxon, he leverages his extensive experience and passion for visual storytelling to push the boundaries of product development, inspiring and leading efforts to deliver cutting-edge solutions for media and entertainment professionals worldwide.
