Without a doubt, it’s been an amazing and crazy year. Below check out all the incredible news and updates from Maxon in 2021.

Closing 2021 on the highest of notes, last week we announced Maxon’s intentions to acquire ZBrush. Pending regulatory approval, the award-winning 3D sculpting and painting tool (and its amazing team) will become part of the Maxon team in early 2022.

Not to be overshadowed are the acquisitions of Forger and Bang, that were quickly rolled into the Maxon One subscription bundle at no additional cost.

There were over 80 product releases and upgrades in 2021 including 2 Cinema 4D upgrades, over 2 dozen updates to Redshift, and updates to most tools in Red Giant Complete. If you’re not subscribed to Maxon One and/or haven’t upgraded your products recently, you’re missing out on a ton of new features and performance enhancements.

Every month, we showcased leading industry professionals on our flagship 3D Motion Show. We ran more than 500 hours of live training sessions to help the Maxon community learn and be successful with our products. We continued our popular Demystifying Post-Production and Hashi’s VFX Side Quest series, and introduced two exciting new shows - Ask The Trainer and VFX & Chill. Recordings of all these events are available on our YouTube channels.

What an incredible year it was for the Maxon Community. We all may have been quarantined, but the industry seems to have thrived. We have been swamped with the success stories of artists utilizing Maxon One. From Beeple on Time and the Tonight Show, to Perception’ Emmy Nomination for WandaVision and countless other success stories.
