
FMX 2025
FMX is Europe’s most important conference for the latest in Animation, Visual Effects, Interactive and Immersive Media. Every year in spring, FMX gathers international film and media professionals in the heart of Stuttgart, including many Oscar and Emmy award winners. With its international yet intimate atmosphere, FMX offers professionals, companies and students from around the globe a unique platform to present their work, share insights, debate, mingle and network.
The Film & Media Exchange started in 1994, when Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg decided to host a fair for students at Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart, Germany. The event quickly developed into a global space where significant film and media creators offer glimpses into their bags of tricks and young talents find inspiration and possibly a job.

Amy Ash is a character artist and supervisor with over 20 years in illustration and animation across advertising, television, features, and game cinematics. Trained as a traditional media illustrator, she worked at a range of studios such as Passion Pictures, Aardman and Goodbye Kansas. She joined Axis Studios in 2018, where she eventually became Head of Characters, and worked on renowned productions ,including the Tales of Runeterra series (Riot Games), Love Death and Robots (Netflix), and the Diablo Immortal launch trailer (Blizzard). She is now working as a Freelance Character Visual Development Sculptor with Netflix Animation.

Dušan Vukčevič is a self-taught 3D artist with two decades of experience in the CG industry. Specializing in architectural visualizations and animations, he collaborates with some of the world’s leading creative studios and companies - all from his small studio in a remote part of Slovenia. His passion for design, attention to detail, and pursuit of photorealism have driven him to create numerous personal projects, earning him prestigious awards and publications. He is a 3D director at Humdinger, a renowned studio based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Lukas Kunzmann is a filmmaker based in Germany, passionate about bringing stories to life as Visual Effects Artist and Director. As Visual Effects Artist he worked on various feature films produced by Blumhouse Productions, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, Amazon Prime and Netflix. He directs narrative films with extensive visual effects, along with music videos and commercials.

Vimal Kerketta is an Indian-born character artist, digital sculptor, and concept artist with over 14 years of experience in the video game, toy, and movie industries. Specializing in lifelike sculptures, Vimal has earned recognition for his exceptional ability to capture human emotions and expressions. His passion for art began in childhood, with a deep fascination for the human face and portraits, leading him to conduct extensive studies on human anatomy and emotional subtleties throughout his career.
In the early stages of his career, Vimal contributed to several AAA video game titles. Additionally, he collaborated with prestigious collectible studios such as Sideshow, Kinetiquettes and QMx, creating remarkable statues and figures that have captivated audiences worldwide.
Currently based in London, Vimal is a Lead Facial Modeller at the renowned VFX studio DNEG. He has worked on numerous high-profile Hollywood films, including the Venom trilogy, Avengers, The Matrix Resurrections, Aquaman, Fast & Furious, and many more. His expertise spans character design, digital doubles, and facial modeling, bringing realism and artistic excellence to some of the biggest franchises in the industry.

Sian Warren is a Creature Modeler with over 7 years of experience, working for large VFX houses like ILM London and MPC Film character Lab. Starting out on ILMs Jedi Academy Graduate scheme, concepting and creating prehistoric creatures for Netflix: Life on Our Planet to an anatomical deep dive into lions and character design for Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King. She has worked on a broad range of species; alive, extinct and alien for films, advertising and tv production to publications with The Society of Vertebrate Palaeontology; collaborating alongside Professor of Biology: Dr Stuart Sumida. She is now working as a Freelance Snr Creature Artist with Facts Dinosaurs and creating educational model tutorials with FXPHD.

Benjamin Broschinski is a multidisciplinary illustrator, graphic designer & 3D generalist based in Berlin, Germany. His work revolves around 3D artworks and animations with a focus on character design and creation.
Woodblock is an independently owned ANIMATION studio with locations in Berlin, Ludwigsburg AND Los Angeles. The team comes from diverse creative and technological areas. Nurturing their talents passion and happiness is the foundation for their visual output and their approach to all encompassing, long term relations. They're also really funny.
