Create with Maxon: Retrowave Graphics with Maxon One – Episode 3

Join us for an exciting livestream series about Retrowave Graphics with Maxon One. Elly, Chad, and Noseman are going to take you on a creative journey to design stunning 1980s-inspired visuals using Maxon’s tools. You will learn how to craft Synthwave cityscapes with Cinema 4D and Redshift Toon Shading. The series also explores creating neon lights, chrome, and laser effects with Redshift materials and Red Giant plugins. It concludes with stylizing, rendering, and compositing retro footage in After Effects, adding the final polish with 8-bit dithered and VHS aesthetics.

For the last episode, Elly, Chad & Noseman will add some totally rad polish to your creations inside After Effects using Maxon One Tools. We will look at creating 8-bit dithered looks using any asset, creating VHS looks, as well as the aesthetic considerations needed to make convincing retro footage.
