Clinton Jones AKA Pwnisher Named Winner of IBC Judges Prize for “Infinite Journeys” Challenge The project was recognized for its contributions to the digital artist community at the IBC2022 Awards Trophy Presentation and Ceremony.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands - September 20, 2022 - Maxon, the leading developer of creative tools for visual effects, congratulates Clinton Jones, aka Pwnisher, on receiving the Judges' Prize at IBC for his 3D community creative challenge: Infinite Journeys.

The YouTube contest challenged 3D artists to build their own custom scenes based on only the phrase “infinite journeys” and the stipulation that the animation must contain a moving vehicle. Inviting artists to bring 2D concepts into a 3D render, the challenge, which was sponsored by Maxon in addition to Rokoko, Camp Mograph, Wacom, Looking Glass Factory, and Mograph.com, encouraged the use of whichever approach, workflow, and inspiration the artists chose to bring their work to life.

Chief of the awards jury Dick Hobbs says, “In our judging meetings, we were really very impressed indeed with what this project achieved. It transcends the technology and embraces creativity, while encouraging people at all stages of their careers to join in and show their talents alongside their peers. Definitely worthy of our recognition.”

In the end, 2,448 artists worked for a collective 18.8 years over 30 days to create nearly three hours of infinite journeys. Clinton's compilation video has been viewed over 450,000 times since being uploaded, with the compilation of the top 100 renders continuing to climb above 5 million views.
