Direct & Channel Sales Director AMER (m/f/d)

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration across theย AMERย region
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of direct and channel sales professionals to deliver exceptional results and meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and distributors to drive business growth and maximize sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and finance, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
  • Identify market trends, competitive insights, and customer needs to inform product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Drive channel partner recruitment, enablement, and engagement initiatives to expand Maxon's presence in key vertical markets and geographic regions
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market dynamics to provide regular reports and insights to senior management

What we are looking for:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in direct and channel sales leadership roles, preferably within the software or technology industry
  • Provenย track recordย of successfully managing sales teams and exceeding revenue targets in theย AMERย region
  • Ability to helpย Enterprise Salespeopleย identify,ย nurture,ย negotiate, and closeย complex,ย large (1M Plus) dealsย withย internationalย corporations
  • Strong understanding of channel sales dynamics, partner ecosystems, and distribution channels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving business growth and customer success
  • Ability to travelย frequentlyย within theย AMERย region as needed, and occasionally travelย to Germany for corporate meetings

Salary Range*:
USD 250,000 - 300,000 OTE annually (California)
