GPU Rendering Developer (Redshift) (m/f/d)

What you will do:
- Work on future development and maintenance of our production-ready renderer: Redshift
- Join a multicultural team that wants to define the future of rendering technology for our user base
- Contribute to the development of advanced raytracing rendering techniques for both interactive and offline use cases, focusing on quality and performance improvements
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated individuals to implement solutions for existing and new features
- Write robust, readable, and maintainable code while participating in performance optimization and code review processes
- Engage with product managers, UX designers, and the QA team to align requirements and deliver high-quality results
What we are looking for:
- Someone passionate about cutting-edge rendering technologies and excited to work on Redshift!
- A Degree in Computer Science / Computational Visualistics / Engineering / Physics / Mathematics with a focus on computer graphics is plus
- Very good understanding of the latest advancements in raytracing and global illumination rendering techniques and at least one modern GPU compute API (CUDA, HIP, Metal)
- Practical experience in rendering technologies, GPU programming, or algorithm optimization
- Strong knowledge of modern C++ as well as GPU and CPU architectures with familiarity with performance optimization techniques
- Interest in state-of-the-art in research and ability to implement new ideas
- Dependable team player with a proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of 3D applications (e.g., Cinema 4D, Maya, Houdini) or render engines (e.g. VRay, Octane, Cycles) is a plus but not required. Interest in learning these tools is expected
- Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, maintainable solutions
- Fluent in written and spoken English
