New Program for 3rd-Party Plugin Developers

Registered Developer Program fosters closer collaboration while looking towards the future of Cinema 4D.

Maxon is pleased to announce a new, formalized program as part of our ongoing effort to enhance communication with our fantastic community of third-party developers. Cinema 4D’s plugin developers do an outstanding job of optimizing, customizing and extending the power of Cinema 4D and we love working closely together to create solutions for every 3D artist.

As previously announced, Maxon’s development team is hard at work creating and integrating new core technologies for Cinema 4D. Much of this core is already in place, and as we continue the transition it will become necessary to make substantial SDK changes in upcoming releases of Cinema 4D. The new Registered Developer Program is designed to help to ensure that third-party developers have an opportunity to learn about changes and adjust their products to ensure continued compatibility.

Our SDK documentation and forum-based support will continue to be free and open to all developers but registered developers will also enjoy a regular SDK newsletter and webinars, early access to future versions of Cinema 4D and access to issue tracking for SDK-related issues.
