Meeting and exceeding our customer needs is a challenge that we meet on a daily basis. To help us meet future challenges we are looking for a Sales Manager (m/f/d) for UK/Ireland to join our growing team.

What you will do:

  • Focus on sales efforts investigating existing and potential volume of UK/Ireland direct sales region and resellers
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and achieves sales targets
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • Service existing accounts, and acquire new ones, both direct and enterprise customers
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and adjust content of sales based on market segment and user profile, as well as discover new opportunities for growth
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports
  • Monitor competition and give feedback to other departments
  • Fulfill customer needs by investigating issues and developing (sales-oriented) solutions and maintain technical knowledge up to date

What we are looking for:

  • Proven work experience as a sales manager and with managing a sales team
  • Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills also with large accounts
  • Availability to travel locally as needed
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Experience in Sales Force or similar CRM software
  • Able to meet set sales goals and proven closing and negotiating skills
  • Self-confidence as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Prospecting skills, knowledge of Maxon‘s products and product portfolio, (or peripherals, competitor products)
