Product Manager (m/f/d)

The Product Manager serves as the voice of the customer in a collaborative, cross-functional team chartered with designing, building products that reflect Maxon’s vision and strategy: building the world’s best products for artists.

What you will do:

  • Using data and customer feedback, clearly articulate customer product needs
  • Contribute to the overall direction and business success of Maxon products by maintaining and executing a clear and precise product roadmap
  • Support engineering, UX and QA in the design and execution of product requirements in the Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Work with Marketing to develop a core product positioning that translates the product vision into well-designed marketing content
  • Develop and foster deep relationships with customers to understand their needs, workflows related to content creation tools and how to use them
  • Collect, interpret and exchange competitive data for all relevant vertical markets
  • Support and advise management regarding pricing based on findings from competitive activity product positioning, market research
  • Communicate product plans and schedules to management and team members
  • Work with Sales and Support ensure effective customer communications
  • Play an active role in strategy and business planning and help identify and develop new opportunities

What we are looking for:

  • BA/BS degree plus 2 years as a product manager, engineer or program manager on a software product
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Experience writing requirements documents, business plans and analysis, product positioning and market research
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with creative software, solutions and workflows including 3D, non-linear editing, motion graphics, effects, compositing is valued
