W Conference

The W Conference is a special event where women in the visual media industry come together to reflect on their careers, explore new ways of working, and shape the future.

While gender equality is advancing globally, Japan still faces significant gender gaps, particularly in the CG and visual media industries, where women remain underrepresented and often encounter workplace challenges. To change this landscape and create a more inclusive environment, CGWORLD and Vook have joined forces to host an event dedicated to supporting all women in the industry.

At W Conference, leading female professionals will share insights into their careers, work approaches, and industry experiences. Creators who have built their careers using Maxon products will also take the stage to discuss their journeys. Through these discussions, we aim to inspire and empower as many individuals as possible.

Maxon is committed to fostering diversity and innovation within the industry. We believe in creating an environment where all creators can freely express their creativity and contribute to a more inclusive and thriving industry.

Keynote 
An opening session that introduces why Vook and CGWORLD initiated this event for women in the visual media industry. It will highlight industry challenges and provide an overview of each session’s intent.

Role models for women in CG and visual media are still limited, making it difficult to find mentors. This session features experienced female creators who will answer questions from the audience about skill development, career growth, work styles, time management, and more.
