ANARK AND MAXON ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

Partnership Provides Artists and Developers with Powerful Toolset for Creating 3D, Interactive Multimedia Applications

BOULDER, Colo. and NEWBURY PARK, Calif., October 27, 2003 - Anark® Corporation and MAXON announced a sales and marketing alliance, further expanding the companies' respective digital media and 3D technologies sales channels. This agreement creates the powerful combination of Anark Studio™, Anark's award-winning multimedia authoring tool, and CINEMA 4D, MAXON's renowned modeling, rendering and animation software; and allows the partners to give customers a fluid workflow to create and deploy interactive 3D multimedia content for online and offline media.

Under the terms of the alliance, Anark and MAXON will share sales and marketing efforts that include direct marketing, Web site integration, and value added resellers. Customers using the Mac platform will benefit from the development integration when using both Anark Studio and CINEMA 4D. This integration allows customers to deliver 3D content to traditional audiences or to author interactive content for the Web, CD-ROMS, kiosks, or even screensavers.
