CINEMA 4D Used by Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH for Medical Products Visualization.

The medical technology firm, Otto Beck HealthCare GmbH, is headquartered in the central German city of Duderstadt and is a market leader in prosthetic development, with offices in 40 countries worldwide. In addition to state-of-the-art arm and leg prosthetics, orthoses (corrective devices or such that improve movement or relieve symptoms) such as wheelchairs and neuro-prostheses are also part of Otto Beck HealthCare's product portfolio.

For the past five years, Otto Beck HealthCare has been using CINEMA 4D to visualize much of its product portfolio. In addition to product visualization, Otto Beck HealthCare uses CINEMA 4D to create animations showcasing the company's products for advertising, video productions and Web presentations. CINEMA 4D is also used for the creation of high-quality presentations for products like the neuro-prosthesis ActiGait® and the design of the Active Wheelchair Blizzard®. 3D animation is also the ideal medium for demonstrating the forces exerted on a prosthetic, such as the Trias® prosthetic foot, when in use.

Even highly complex neuro visualizations can be presented clearly and concisely using CINEMA 3D. This would not be possible using photos or illustrations.
