CINEMA 4D WINS BEST 3D SOFTWARE AT MACWORLD 2006
Double delight as CINEMA 4D stays number one on the Mac.
It was a win double for CINEMA 4D at this year's glittering Macworld magazine awards. Held in London on June 29, the event saw CINEMA 4D win Best 3D and Animation Software 2006. It's the second time CINEMA 4D has won the award.
CINEMA 4D is the UK's most awarded 3D software on the Macintosh today, with three MacUser awards and now two Macworld awards in the past six years.
"I'm elated CINEMA 4D has won again," said Perry Stacy, Managing Director at MAXON UK. "The new Macworld award proves we are as determined as ever to keep on improving CINEMA 4D and leading the way in state-of-the-art tools that are actually easy to use."
Above all, powerful tools and remarkable ease of use continue to help CINEMA 4D shine. Macworld hailed CINEMA 4D as "a 3D powerhouse that allows users to create and animate 3D models to a quality that sets the standard for the genre." The user interface was also singled out for special mention, being named as "among the easiest to use."
Not least of all, Macworld praised MAXON for its rapid updates to CINEMA 4D and support for the latest technology -- for example, CINEMA 4D was the first professional 3D application to run natively on the new Intel-based Macs: "The development cycle at MAXON is truly impressive," said Macworld. "MAXON seem determined to keep CINEMA 4D at the cutting edge."
Naturally, MAXON is delighted to win yet another top award and is doubly determined to continue this tradition of award-winning excellence.
