Food & Beverage with CINEMA 4D British-born designer Joseph Hill began working with CINEMA 4D in 2002. At first it was more of a hobby, but he was quick to realize the potential of the package and soon found ways of integrating it into his working life.

In 2005, he founded his own company, Pixel Concept, that aims to specialize within the food & beverage industry. Joe continues to rely on his use of CINEMA 4,D finding it ideal for both concept packaging and design. "Customers really enjoy the freedom of being able to make changes that can be achieved within hours rather than days. The need for the production of early prototypes or photography has dramatically reduced; it is a proven time and money saver."
Ice River for GlaxoSmithKline
"When I was asked to submit a graphic for GlaxoSmithKline to be used on their vending machines, there seemed little chance of me winning; I was being pitted against some of London's finest. So, understandably, there was in-house doubt. However, by utilizing the powerful tools that CINEMA 4D has to offer, I was able to achieve an original piece of artwork that captured everything that GSK had wanted to portray within the design. The image, which is now known as Ice River, won unanimously."
By using CINEMA 4D I was able to create realistic product shots. This allowed me to be more diverse with the angling and placing of the products within my design. Each one captured and created realistic highlights and shadows which, overall, produced a sense of depth that a standard two-dimensional package cannot easily achieve. This allowed me to stand head and shoulders above the competition.
