Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG - Prinect
WOK2 has animated 60 camera fly-throughs roaming around a virtual printing works in order to demonstrate how Prinect - the auomated print production system from Heidelberger Druckmashinen AG - works. The project was produced by WSP Design.

One of the most complex scenes involved three cameras, several printing machines, various peripheral devices, countless terminals and a huge number of light sources.

About 10,000 frames of animation had to be rendered inside a tight deadline of just one week. Despite the complexity of the project, CINEMA 4D's famously fast render engine managed to churn out more than one frame per minute and the project was completed on time.

Other features that helped the team keep on top of the project included CINEMA 4D's crystal-clear object hierarchy structure, and the easy to use nature of the timeline and F-curves.
