How can I reset my layout? How do I undo changes to my layout?
To reset the layout, go to Window / Layout / Reset Layout, or re-select the layout from the Layout icon group.
Can't see the full palettes - the palette seems to be cut off!
Minimum recommended screen resolution for using CINEMA 4D or BodyPaint 3D is 1024x768. You can use a smaller resolution - but palettes will appear cut off and you will have to scroll them to access some icons. You can scroll a palette by right-clicking and dragging to the left or right for horizontal palettes and up or down for vertical palettes.
Palettes may fit better at lower resolutions if you right-click or Ctrl/Cmd+click the palette and choose the small or medium icon size from the palette context menu.
You may also wish to edit your palettes to match the available screen space by activating the Edit Palettes option in the Command Manager. More information is available in your reference documentation.
How do you replace or add icons to a particular palette?
To edit palettes, open the Command Manager (Window / Command Manager) and activate the Edit Palettes check box. You'll be able to drag icons between and within palettes, and drag commands from the Command Manager into palettes.
When you're done editing, deactivate the Edit Palettes check box and save your layout (Window / Layout / Save Layout).
