The Last Cause - SciFi Melodrama with Anime Influence Looking for Sponsors

News from May 13th 2011:

Linh Mai assembled a team of talented artists to bring his baby to life. Timur Mutsaev, Lead Concept Artist at Crytek, who designed the Nanosuit from the well known Crysis shooters, or Christian Rüssler, responsible for the character design in Crysis 2, help creating a trailer to attract sponsors for a full feature film.

A high-end trailer of this magnitude also needs strong financial backing, which is what the team is planning to do via kickstarter.com in order to ensure the completion of the trailer. MAXON, whose software CINEMA 4D is the modeling and animation software of choice for this project, is showing its support with a total of $10,000. The team is still $12,000 away from its target goal of $50,000, which needs to be reached by May 25, 2011.
