CINEMA 4D cements its position as the 3D app that combines professional power with ease of use.
PC Pro has recommended CINEMA 4D R11 in its April 2009 issue. The UK-based magazine points to CINEMA 4D's value for money, powerful tools and ease of use as key reasons to buy:
"We first recommended CINEMA 4D seven years ago - back in version 8 - for its combination of professional power and ease of use. The same is true of [Release] 11."
"CINEMA 4D R11 takes advanced texture handling to a completely new level with its support for matte painting. The beauty is that, while the results can look astonishingly complex, both geometry and texturing are actually kept as simple as possible. MAXON was specifically commissioned by Sony to develop Projection Man for use in films such as 'Polar Express' and 'Beowulf', and now this power is made available to everyone."
"Thanks to its new non-destructive, non-linear Motion System, animation becomes another of CINEMA 4D's object-based strengths. Moreover, like the new Projection Man matte painting, it's extraordinary power for the price."
"Crucially, it's not just the practicalities of rendering that have been reworked; the underlying engine has, too. MAXON claims average speed gains of over 100% and that's certainly true of the sample files we tested."
"For new users and those producing animations, especially cinematic work, CINEMA 4D R11 is essential."
