CINEMA 4D R11.5 lands Digital Arts 'Best Buy' award
Introducing a "bucketload" of new features, CINEMA 4D R11.5 has been hailed a "Best Buy" by Digital Arts magazine.
While the revolutionary MoGraph 2 features caught the eye of Digital Arts, the extensive upgrade also impressed with its offerings in the core version, such as support for Snow Leopard and Windows 7, streamlined performance, FBX 2010 support and high-performance bucket rendering:
"This version also has 'bucket' rendering, which uses each core in a multi-processor system to render a square region of the scene. The result is visibly faster rendering time, with greater optimisation of RAM."
"You can now compare a text render with previous iterations from the history using the AB Compare Tool ... this was a real bonus."
"After Effects and Motion have an enhanced presence within the CINEMA 4D R11.5 pipeline, including multiple 3D camera exports, and support for solids in After Effects and Motion's 3D space."
"Also in MoGraph 2, PolyFX applies effectors to the individual polygons of an object, enabling quick and easy explosion effects."
