(T)Raumschiff Surprise - Periode1 - Onlinegames

Featuring the likes of Captain Kork and Mr Spuck, "Raumschiff Surprise - Periode 1" has enjoyed the most successful opening day of a movie in Germany ever.

The space spoof now boasts some excellent online games, developed by WOK2 and made with the help of CINEMA 4D.

WOK2 created three Flash games inside just three weeks. This achievement is all the more impressive when you consider that a crew of just four worked on the games, and one of the games - "Roguls Rache" - allows for up to ten players per level, and features 18 different backdrops!

The 3D objects for "Roguls Rache" were created in CINEMA 4D with 2D elements applied as materials. WOK2 took advantage of CINEMA 4D's comprehensive lighting tools to ensure that all player sprites and props could be seen from eight different viewpoints with consistent lighting and shadows.

To allow for fast download times, the character animation was kept simple - a basic bones setup and forward kinematics were all that were required to get the character animation done at warp speed.
