CINEMA 4D R11 gewinnt Macworld Editors' Choice
“CINEMA 4D R11 is a brilliant upgrade”
CINEMA 4D Release 11 hat den "Editors' Choice award" in der amerikanischen Macworld, mit sagenhaften 5 von 5 Punkten gewonnen. "We doubt that there's an easier-to-use, better-integrated and feature-rich 3D toolset out there,", schreibt die Macworld.
Das Magazin zeigt sich begeistert von der komplett neu geschriebenen Global Illumiation (GI) Render Engine, die dem Benutzer fotorealistische Beleuchtungen mit minimalstem Aufwand ermöglicht. "(The new) GI rendering system is both more accurate and easier to use than the old version."
Laut Macworld werden Character-Animateure besonders von der neuen non-linearen Animation angetan sein: "The new (non-linear animation) system, which includes motion clips, animation layers and blending, makes animating complex characters a doddle."
Auch MAXONs wegweisende Unterstützung der Macintosh-Plattform wird von der Macworld hervorgehoben "CINEMA 4D is now a fully cocoa-native app and one of the few apps available that can take full advantage of Apple's 64-bit operating system. This allows you to render hugely complicated scenes in a single pass and we must say that it works well without a hint of drama."
Insgesamt bezeichnet Macworld CINEMA 4D R11 als ein "brillantes Upgrade" und schliesst mit dem Fazit: "Not forgetting that CINEMA 4D still boasts the awesome MoGraph module, a feature-packed character animation toolset, and hair and cloth simulation, we doubt that there's an easier-to-use, better-integrated and feature-rich 3D toolset out there."
