This should act as a base concept for anyone really stuck with creating water. The important feature is that there are 3 levels of water, and a ground layer.The surrounding environment (sun, sky) are also very important. Just look at any water and it is mostly always completely transparent (maybe some dirt). The environment and underlying ground is what gives the colour and reflections etc...
